    Funny! But I entirely agree with you on points 2 through 6. Not sure about conservative glamour though!

      I assumed conservative with a very small c, Sue, thinking Arran sweaters and denim rather than nubbly jackets and court shoes.

    BOOTS! Nothing is sexier, or more utilitarian, or easier to wear with EVERYTHING, than a really great pair of boots. Of which I have. Boots are palliative.

    I love autumn, too–I’m pretty damn sincere about my love of autumn, actually. I love re-reading The Legend of Sleepy Hollow and Jane Eyre. I love the tingle I get when I can smell cold in the air. I love pumpkins, and crunchy leaves, and warm drinks, and mittens, and big, fat moons.
